- miscellaneous planning
- furious attempts to submit a big project proposal for work ultimately foiled by whether or not entities beyond my immediate control 1) bother to inform us of things they require in relation to the proposal until the very last minute, 2) are able to click buttons to fulfill these requirements on super short notice. *sigh* I guess there's always Monday to pick up where things fell apart on Friday since nothing administrative can happen over the weekend to move things along.
Saturday
- Finally acquired paint samples for the wall!
- refueled the car (boring but necessary!)
- Visited family, came back with a new loaf pan (apparently Mom had a spare that she doesn't use!) and various foodstuffs.
- Sorted through a bunch of boxes full of old clothes and books.
- brainstorming and failing to figure out a good gift for C's sister
Sunday
- Slept in, then morning coffee and brunch with C. Quickly becoming my preferred way to spend a weekend morning.
- Took a short trip to the grocery store
- Photographed the holes in the bedroom wall and taped some covers over them because at least with these covers it is marginally less stupid than it was when we moved in.
- Hoping to watch the first part of a movie tonight to wind down after too many work emails.
